The marriage of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him and Lady Aisha
It became a common routine for Muslims to hear this usual claim and objection of the marriage of Muhammad peace be upon him and Lady Aisha may God be pleased of her . When you ask them ” What do you have against this marriage ? ” they say ” Because it is not acceptable for a 50 years old person to have sex with such a little girl ” so let us look at Hadith , does it really say that he had sex with her and she is 6 years old ? Or maybe it is just another false claim made in order to fabricate about Islam ?
Sahih Bukhari Volume 5, Book 58, Number 236:
Narrated Hisham’s father:
Khadija died three years before the Prophet departed to Medina. He stayed there for two years or so and then he married ‘Aisha when she was a girl of six years of age, and he consumed that marriage when she was nine years old.
Sahih Muslim Book 008, Number 3310:
‘A’isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported: Allah’s Apostle (may peace be upon him) married me when I was six years old, and I was admitted to his house when I was nine years old.
Sahih Muslim Book 008, Number 3311:
‘A’isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that Allah’s Apostle (may peace be upon him) married her when she was seven years old, and she was taken to his house as a bride when she was nine, and her dolls were with her; and when he (the Holy Prophet) died she was eighteen years old.
So clearly , he married her at the age of six and only consumed the marriage when she was 9 .
And honestly , the reason this hatred toward this marriage is so great is the difference in standards . When a person among us Muslims – As I notice – gets married , he thinks about the responsibilities of it , the job , how he’s supposed to spend on his wife and children , the house , the education of his children , and lastly , the sexual contact . But for some reason , whenever one of these people thinks of marriage , they think about the bed and two nude figures on it . Why’s that mentality ? Anyway , in Islam , marriage is only a contract , where the girl is asked if she accepts the marriage to the man , and if she accepts and her parents accepted , then she marries him and everyone’s happy , no objection . But there is a rule , if the girl is still to reach puberty and show the signs of maturity ( Simply , if she’s still a child ) then the husband is never to have sexual contact with her until she becomes a full woman AND become able to stand the sexual contact . Therefore , marriage is allowed in Islam no matter what the age is , but the sexual contact is completely banned unless the wife is able to stand it .
Note : That rule also applies if the wife is tired or ill
But even now , some might object and say ” But she is still too young , she’s still a child ” And those people are actually only being stubborn and hateful and desperate to assault Islam , because Lady Aisha showed the signs of puberty before they consumed the marriage

Narrated Aisha:
The Prophet engaged me when I was a girl of six (years). We went to Medina and stayed at the home of Bani-al-Harith bin Khazraj . Then I got ill and my hair fell down . Later on my hair grew (again) and my mother, Um Ruman, came to me while I was playing in a swing with some of my girl friends. She called me, and I went to her, not knowing what she wanted to do to me. She caught me by the hand and made me stand at the door of the house. I was breathless then , and when my breathing became Alright , she took some water and rubbed my face and head with it . Then she took me into the house. There in the house I saw some Ansari women who said, “Best wishes and Allah’s Blessing and a good luck.” Then she entrusted me to them and they prepared me (for the marriage). Unexpectedly Allah’s Apostle came to me in the forenoon and my mother handed me over to him, and at that time I was a girl of nine years of age.
So , she clearly became a full woman that can have children and not a child anymore . And the people of hot areas such as the Arabian land mature faster than the people of could areas such as Europe and Russia and the north of America ( See the link below ) . If she wasn’t a full woman then Quraish would have used that to prove that he isn’t a prophet , but that marriage was a common thing among them as long as the girl is mature , her parents were happy , her friends were happy , prophet Muhammad’s friends were happy , and if it wasn’t that they were enemies , Quraish would have also been happy . And really , I don’t see us Muslims forced to prove our prophet’s doing’s right just to please some bias media like that of the Romans ( Europe & USA ) but THEY are forced to bring even if ONE telling saying that she was harmed by that marriage or even forced into it . On the other hand , we can easily bring them any telling about her which says that she was overjoyed with that marriage .
Although I doubt that any sane person would come out and say that Quraish were ALL child molesters and therefore they accepted the marriage , I’ll ask ” Why did not the other Arabian clans object ? were they all child molester ? ” And maybe they will still claim such a thing , so I’ll ask them ” Why did not the Africans object on that when Islam reached them ? were they child molesters ? ” And they might also stick to such a claim and say that Africans are indeed child molesters because they were barbarians . So I’ll ask again ” Why did not the Persians , one of the greatest enemies of Islam , object on that marriage ? were they all child molesters ? ” Hmmm … I think that you’re starting to understand my point about how incorrect this objection is , so I’ll ask again ” Why did not Romans ( European ) object on that marriage while they were the greatest enemies of Islam ? were they all child molesters ? ” From the east the Persians and the Chinese and Indians … etc , from the west and south west the Africans , from the north west Europe and the Romans . I think that if anybody saying they were all child molesters must admit one of two :
1 – They are also child molesters
2 – They are not humans and therefore their standards are different ( Maybe aliens ^^ )
I think that we get it now , no body has the right to object about her being a child because she was a full woman who showed the signs of puberty . And I would like to ask something ” If a 9 years old is still a child , then what is the minimum age of marriage ? ” And they’ll probably say ” 18 is the legal age ” And now they put themselves in trouble , because they made age as the standard , and with that they ignored maturity , therefore ( They accept a girl to marry if she’s 18 but not mature , even if it damage her , she’s still an adult , it doesn’t matter if she’s still with a child’s body ) What is between these marks is the standard these enemies of Islam use , and I ask every sane person ” Does that sound right ? Would you accept it if the 18 years old marry and damage her self because she’s still a child from inside ? What is more important , age , or maturing ? “
But even after this , some will object and say ” But the difference of age is too great ” And once again , that isn’t an excuse for them to object since it was ok on that time , Persians did not object , Romans did not object , Arabians did not object , the whole world did not object , so why do they object now ? And anyway , prophet Muhammad was not the old man they think him to be . He was a very healthy strong man until he passed away . He helped his friends dig the trench on the trench battle . He used to help them with everything . So there shouldn’t be a problem . And the difference of age doesn’t matter anyway , because the different would be the way the husband and wife look at life . is that perverted ? Is it perverted for the husband and wife to have different views of life ? Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him married her because she had a great wisdom , and she became a scholar . And so was the reason he married his other wives , so that they could learn from him the personal things of women and pass it to other women . A woman once asked him how to clean up her period blood ! So he said ( In meaning ) : “Clean it” she said “But how ? What’s the method ?” and he turned away shyly saying “Exalted is Allah ! Clean it” and in the end , lady Aisha showed her the way . Now , Would a man among you talk to a girl about her period ? I never heard of someone lacking even that much of modesty . Prophet Muhammad taught his wives those private things so that they could teach them to other women . If he directly taught the other women about period and stuff you would also object about it , an objection from here and an objection from there , what DO you want then ? Do you just want to critic Islam for nothing ? Why that much hatred ?
And if the ones making all this fuss are Christians or Jews then that is a problem to them as their Bible says that it is allowed to marry a THREE years old , so why did not they say a thing about it ? And according to their book as well , Mary the virgin was betrothed to a man whose 77 years older than her , so why don’t they say a thing ? I think we understand now that the ones who make such a big noise about this marriage are really misguided .
But still , they might say ” But that marriage damaged her mental state , and therefore we don’t accept it ” And that is actually very ridiculous . If she was really mentally hurt then why do we see her overjoyed with her marriage in every correct Hadith ? Why do we find her jealous of his other wives ? Why do we find her defending him ? Would she do all that if he actually hurt her ?
Even after all this , we find them sticking to the “pedophile” lie about our dear prophet . I ask these disrespectful people ” If he really was what you claim – And he’s innocent of your dishonest claims – then what about his first marriage ? ” Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him did not marry until he was 25 , they found it weird because it was common among them for a man to marry when he becomes 15 or so , but he still did not marry and neither did he visit what you currently call “Playboys” , why is that ? if he really was a person who follows his lust , then why did not he ever marry during his “Sexual prime years” ? And another hammer hitting this claim is who he married , he married lady Khadija may God be pleased of her , she was a two time widow and a 40 Years old woman , FIFTEEN years OLDER than him ! why’s that ? some might claim ” Because she was rich ” and that is actually an attempt to keep attacking after all these former claims were refuted , because SHE was the one who asked him for marriage after she saw his great personality and honesty . The woman asks the man for marriage ? you don’t hear about that a lot ( Or at all ) . And even if they stick to the claim that he married her for her wealth , what about his second wife , Lady Sawdaa bint Zam’aa ? she also was older than him and he only married her two years before Hijra to Madina , and he was almost 64-66 years old back then , so why did not he marry another woman after Lady Khadija if he only cared for what you claim ? and what about the rest of his marriages ? they were all widows and old women . So what kind of a fair person would claim that such a great noble kind man was a pedophile – Innocent he is from their claims ! – while everybody admit his great personality ? Why would they do that ? …… well … because of blind hatred toward Islam , because they want to stop its spreading , but God is fulfilling his religion despite the hatred of the ones who disbelieve .
In the end , this only shows us that it was a person with ill desires and great hatred who objected on this marriage because of the jealousy they had from Islam . I ask you who read this , do you still believe what they told you about our dear prophet ?

Mohammed invaded Khayber, the living place of the Jewish tribe of Bani Nadeer, at dawn and set fire to the tents and palm trees. Burning palm trees was considered evil practice and was generally unacceptable in Arabia, but Allah revealed a verse explaining to the Arabs that what Mohammed did was OK. The tribe was defeated quickly and badly. Most men were massacred and the leader of the tribe, Kenana, was arrested, tortured and killed as per Mohammed’s orders. When the battle was over, one of the Muslims asked Mohammed to allow him to take a woman, safyia, as a slave for himself, to which Mohammed agreed. Other Muslims became jealous and told Mohammed that the woman was actually the wife of Kenana and was very beautiful. Mohammed ordered his men to bring the woman to him and once he looked at her, he immediately covered her with his garment, indicating that he decided to have her. Later that day, Mohammed freed her and married her.
Safyia realized her fate as she lost her tribe and all power. When Mohammed offered her marriage she had to accept as the other option was slavery. Widows are required to wait over four months before getting married again, but Mohammed, the man with privileges, didn’t have to abide by his own rules and ordered the marriage that same night. Safyia was too traumatized to sleep with Mohammed that night, having lost her husband, brother and all the men of her tribe. The wedding was postponed for a few days to allow her time to recover from her shock. This is only one scandal of Muhammad with women. No matter how much I look in history , this man – Kenana – was not the leader of the tribe . And even if he was , the story telling this lie is refuted for many reasons :
1 – The son of Humaid Arrazi – In the chain of the story – is a liar of denied telling
2 – The son of Izak never saw the prophet . So how does he claim he saw the incident while he was born years after he passed away ?!
